i was really, really excited to contribute to issue 1 of the very first roller derby magazine in the UK, inside line magazine. not only did i get to shoot the gorgeous minxie mayhem, but we even made the cover! thanks to jessica rammit at inside line for making it possible.

a friend of mine recently launched a bristol fashion website & community, MyStreetChic.com, and i was super excited to be a part of their first photoshoot. the photos were used for their website and launch promotions, and they were also printed in Venue Magazine (No. 971, August 2011, pages 24-25).
‘summer in the city’ was the theme, and we shot on a beautiful day in montpelier & st. paul’s.

creative file - borai | suit yourself magazine
i’ve just started a new series for SY called ‘creative file’. in each issue i’ll be going behind-the-scenes, into the studios of creative people in bristol to see them in their workspaces.
i kicked things off with borai, a long-time fixture on the bristol bass music scene. read the article in the online version of the magazine.
back in april of 2009 i shot the lovely practiceweb studio designers. they wanted some silhouettes to use on their printed material, and their future website, taken in a secret location in the bristol city centre. these are a couple of those photos.
i wrote my first article for suit yourself magazine, about a mexican import store in bristol called otomí, and some of my photos were published alongside the article. it was super easy to write about my favorite bristol shop!
